  • Adding 3:2 pulldown via hardware output in Premiere Pro??

Posted by Peter Price on June 3, 2014 at 6:25 am

    Hi all,

As you remember in FCP 7, if you wanted to playback a 23.98 project to 29.97fps monitor, all you had to do, was go to the View menu and choose 1080i29.97 and then it just did the 3:2 pulldown automatically in hardware output.

But I can’t seem to find this capability or option in Premiere Pro CC. Does anyone know how to do this, or is it not possible in Premiere Pro?

    Please advise. Thanks!!

I believe that is a I/O specific feature that you’d enable on the I/O side.

you can also copy your 23.976 sequence into a 29.97 sequence
and premiere will do the pull down if your output card
    doesn’t support it.
