Add Velocity envelope to all clips
Posted by Paul Gregory on September 30, 2012 at 2:10 amIs there any way to put a velocity envelope onto every clip in a project? I should point out that all events are jpegs & I was hoping that I would not have to change each event one at a time.
Thanks in advance

September 30, 2012 at 5:52 amPaul, JPEGS are stills. What or how are you applying movement that would then be affect by a Velocity Envelope?
Curious?

September 30, 2012 at 6:10 amI’m getting old I didn’t actually mean a velocity envelope but rather something that would achieve the same result with stills. In other words change the duration for all stills on the timeline, all at one rather than one at a time.
Thanks in advance

You and I!
OK, dead easy this. There are at least 2 options I use:
1] On Import set Still duration in Preferences.
OR . . as they are now ON the T/L
2] Select all the Stills that are in sequence, next to each other, hit “G” for Group, then hold down the Ctrl Key, go to the Front or End of the Group of Stills and drag the Front towards the End or the End towards the Front. You are now squashing the Group duration down to what you want.
Cheers
