I have a AV/PA gig coming up and I would like to see what kind of options I have to add on some external antennas to boost the reception/range. I have a Gig Rig with four AT 2000 series units in it, mixer, etc. I am pretty uncertain where to start, so I was hoping some of you more knowledgeable people could help me out. Thanks in advance!

Hello Jeremy and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum,

    What’s an AT 2000?
    What the event?
    What are the distances?

If these are wireless mics, and the receivers use removable BNC-connected antennae, you can get larger, more directional antennae for the receivers. You’d mount them posts so you could maintain line of sight with the transmitters. Also consider moving the receivers closer to the transmitters and running cable from them to your mixer.

    Regards,
