Add Pulldown
Can the Kona 3 add pulldown from a Sony HDCAM deck that is playing back 23.98 HDCAM from a CineAlta at 23.98 fps into a 29.97 HD or SD codec on the fly?
Can’t seem to tell if it can do this from the control panel.
Just curious. wonder if you need an external box between the deck and the Kona card.

Yes.

Nope.
If in 1080psf and need to go to 1080i, simply put the video output of FCP to 1080i29.97 and match your bit depth.
For SD, do the same thing and then use the control panel to set a down convert to 525i.
