Add point seems to be confused. :)~
Hey everyone,
This is my first post so try to go easy on me.I’m following the model a human head tutorial ( https://www.creativecow.net/show.php?forumid=1&page=/articles/labelle_jannis/head_ee/Eyes.htm ) since I really liked the look of this particular technique (easy, fast & accurate) but the Add-Point tool doesn’t seem to want to behave.
I’ve made absoloutely sure I’m working inside a polygon, with the point tool, in modelling mode (Cinema 4D 9.5) but it will only add a point if it’s inside an existing polygon which does not match the tutorial.
Is there a way to replicate the classic behavior from the tutorial or a similar alternative?
I really like this modelling method and I find it a shame that it’s broken in release 9.5.

I think you would want the Create Polygon tool
