  Add ‘pitched-roof’ shape to top face of extruding cube?

  I am using spline wrap on a cube to animate a cube growing on the y-axis along a path. I found this spline-wrap technique from a tutorial and it works nicely.

  But I need to add a fixed pitched-roof-shape (a triangular prism) to the top end of the extruding cube as it grows along a spline.

  I’ve looked at all the extrude along spline tutorials and questions I can find, but have not found a solution to this.

  Any ideas please?
