    Hey guys,

This is probably a dumb question but it’s important that I figure this out.

I’m making a catalog on Adobe Illustrator CS and can’t find an option to add
more pages to it. I have one 8.5″x11″ cover page but now I want to add more pages to the document.

    Thanks so much.

First things first. Illustrator is not a very good tool for making catalogs. I suggest using InDesign for making catalogs. Using Illustrator for catalogs is going to be a huge pain for you and the press.

Having said that, the way to add pages in Illustrator is:
Go to File>Document Setup. Then add make the width of your document multiples of 8.5 (ie if you want three pages, then make your document width 25.5) then choose the Tile Full Pages radio button.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll consider using Quark Express 5.0 for the PC.
Does that translate well if the printer uses Quark for Mac?

    That should be fine.
