Hey all! I’m sure I knew how to do this once, but how do I select multiple clips in my timeline and apply a default transistion to every spot where a transition would go?

I use dissolves constantly, and I just want to “Select All” and apply a dissolve to large portions of my video. Anyone know how?

Sorry Mate, this is not do-able in CS3 I usually have fingers over shortcut keys, Ctrl+D and move the playhead near the cut points with the mouse and keep slamming the shortcut.
However CS4 looks like it will have this function along with many others we’ve been crying about for many years. I’m praying that cs4 gets many workflow stuff right and no bugs!

When I try hitting CTRL+D with the playhead at a transistion, nothing happens…what’s this trick shortcut that I’m not doing right?

If you are already on a transition it needs to be deleted. This shortcut will only work on cuts, not transitions already there.
