Add multiple titles to every clip?

Hi Quang…

I assume this is based ont he project we just worked thru the blurs on….

if so, i assume you have many many titles to create

One thing to understand that is that titles are clips of their own in PPro…and not effects added clips.

because of this…there is not a real “batch” way of handling this in PPro.

so you have to consider yoru workflow overall to deal with this in an painless a matter as possible.

I’d suggest that the title tool probably isn’t the most effective here, as you will have to create all the titles manually…

So there are a couple of options…

Photoshop: There are ways of creating batches of files starting with data in an Excel spreadsheet.
This can be good, if you need to generate a lot of titles quickly ( as it seems you do)…and if you decide later that you need to go back and adjust the styling.

Another avenue might be to approach this using After Effects.
There is a script for After Effects called “Comps from Spreadhseets”
here you could make batches of titles and then bring them into PPro as Dynamic linked comps. meaning you can change them later as well.
Here results can also be animated by designing the animation as part of the base composition.

Neither of these will automate the process of placing them into your PPro editing sequence.
It’s up to you to get the edits into the timeline.

but once there..it would be easy to updated and change.
