    Hi There,

I’m hoping someone can help me. I’ve searched everywhere for a solution and can’t find one.

I need to add more points to a polystar, and have followed along in a couple of different video tutorials, but I’m missing the option for “Type”.

After I’ve created a Polystar, I twirl down Polystar 1 and the twirl down Polystar Path 1 just like in the tutorials, but for me the option Type with all the choices under it like Points, Position, Rotation etc are missing. There’s only one choice and it’s position. What possibly could I be doing wrong?

    Thanks for your help.

I’m not sure why those options are not there for you. The other way to add points to a polystar is while you are creating it before you let go of the mouse button you can hit the up or down arrows to increase or decrease the number of points.

Yeah, I’m at a loss for why I can’t see it either. That’s a great tip though and it will really help me out until I can figure out why I don’t have “Type” in my Ploystar Path settings.

    Thanks!

A screenshot or two would really help us troubleshoot.

You created a bezier path shape, not a parametric shape.

if you hold alt(in Windows/Option in Mac) while drawing your shape you will create a shape rather than a bezier path and hence you won’t have this issue! such a late reply tho!
