Add audio to a menu and have animated buttons with different durations?
Hi! I’m trying to do the following, but I don’t know how to. I want to have 15 seconds animated buttons on my menu, but I want to have a song on the background which lasts 4 minutes.
When I click in animate buttons, I select the duration for 15 seconds, so that after 15 seconds the animated buttons start over again. BUT, when I link the song to the audio (on properties>motion>audio) the duration gets changed to the duration of the song, so this makes the animated buttons lasts 4 minutes (which is terribly long for rendering and space).Can I have a song playing in the background completely, then start again when it ends, and, at the same time, having animated buttons that only last 15 seconds and loop infinitely?

I don’t think so, as you would be creating a 15 seconds video track with a 4 minutes audio track, and IIRC, the DVD specification requires both to be the same lenght. I don’t think there is a workaround either, so you’ll need to render those 4 minutes, which is not that much.
