    Hello Fellow Cowpokes,

I have searched the forums and cannot find the answer to my question.
I am trying to remember how to add a red outline circle over a map.

I recall that I could actually animate the circle. Anybody remember how to do this in Final Cut.
Thanks so much for any help!

    Bruce

The easiest way would probably be a circle wipe.

    Have a wonderful day.

Actually it’s called clock wipe, you could make the circle out of text, something round like Futura, make sure it’s exactly centered at the size you want, then you could move it anywhere over the map. Would take about a minute or two to do.

    Have a wonderful day.

I finally found what I was looking for.

    Effects>Video Generator>Boris>Vector Shape

    Choose Oval Shape
    Turn off Border #1
    Turn on Border #2
    Turn off Shape Fill
Keyframe Border #2 “Border Begin” to animate circle on map
