    Dear DaVinci Profs,

I just started with my first DaVinci project and I´m just fascinated with the programm. It works mostly like I am used to from ohter apps. And from this approach comes my question:
When I make for example in AE a vignette, I can do it with a white solid, create the vignette and use it with a compositing overlay.

As DaVinci supports multiply video Tracks and compostiting modes in a timline – this workflow would cover not only one color correction (by adding at the end a power window etc.), I probably could expand over the whole sequence.

So my question is if there is a kind of generic input node like in nuke the checkerboard or constant or like in AE the solids or adjustmentlayers that I can use in combination with the timline for the whole sequenze?

Thanks for your tips and advice.
