    Hi all,

I’ve been trying to do some editing in PRPro, using footage from and Activeon CX action cam. Playback on the camera and on the standard Windows player is fine but on PR, nothing wrong with the video but the audio skips.

It is a .MOV file and I tried using encoder to change to H.264. But the same audio issue. I changed to that as I am also using phone and bridge cam footage, both H.264.

What do I need to do to get these .MOV files playing properly in PR?
Is it something to do with audio codec?
    Must be doing something wrong?

My setup is PRPro CS5 on Win 10 (don’t ask how I managed to get that to work).

    Thank you.

If you open the MOV file in QT, and go to Show Movie Inspector, what details does it give you for the video and audio?

Possible, since it’s older CS, that it doesn’t like the codec – which would be the same with AME. You might try converting the file with Handbrake to h264 file. https://handbrake.fr/downloads.php

    Good Luck!

    Hi Tom,

Thank you for the suggestions. In QuickTime, the audio is listed as 48k, 16-bit integer, little endian. I’ll try Handbrake as well.

CS5 should handle that audio fine. Might be some weird issue with the file. Def give Handbrake a try. If at least to transcode the audio.
    Good Luck!
