Is there a way to get event information like the timeline ‘Active Take Info’ in the rendered output?

I need to make a DVD of alot of clips to have a customer do their pick and it would be nice to have a way to identify what they see on the DVD other than note the time of the played media from the player.

    Thanks for any pointers.

No the active take info cannot be rendered into the final output…
Why not render text with a transparent background in a corner of each video file to make them identifiable…if thats what you are looking for.

How about using the time code generator as per Spots recommendation in a post above? Window burns are typically used for this type of thing.

Yes that is what I want to do. My question maybe be better put as:
Is there a way in Vegas to automate this or is there a script available that automate this? (Like using the media file name or something to put as the text.)

The “Quick Labels” tool in Excalibur can do this.
