Activation from PC to a Macbook Pro “101 Activation Failed”
I have recently properly deactivated my AVID MC 6 editing program on my PC desktop with the intent to activate the same software, which I have already installed (but not activated previously) on my Macbook Pro portable.
I assume this should be an easy process, but after putting in my System ID and the Activation ID from my MC 6 “installation guide”, which I legally purchased and have used on my desktop…I get an error code saying: “101 Activation Failed”.
Any advice on how to proceed to activate my MC 6 on the Mac??

You could try to reinstall MC . Helped me with same issue. Does it activate properly on Mac? If the license is alteady in use for some reason you might have to contact Avid support .
