    ok guys.. i wanna.. add this effect… like we hv brackets in the DV lcd screen.. brackets which define the frame..
    so i wanna make my footage look as if looking through DV lcd..

    i hope i made my self clear… i think there’s a plugin too which gets this effect.. if u could lemme know which one is it..

    I don’t know about a specific plug, but you could play around with a mosaic filter and then just add the lines by either uses solids, or a strokes.

    I’d do this:

    1) create a new solid (any colour), same size as comp
    2) using the pen tool, draw one bracket by clicking (not dragging), then change to the regular selection tool and click on the screen (this is so you can draw a new bracket in the next step)
    3) use the pen tool again to draw the second bracket
    4) using the selction tool, tweak the position of the bracket points (see the help if you have trouble)
    5) apply effect>render (or generate)>stroke to the solid, set it to all masks, and set the stroke colour and width to your taste
