ACEDVio ( How to set Audio Out from DV connector)
Hi all,
My name is Haizad
I have 2 question:
1) Really need your guys help. Before this I`m using Canopus Let`s Edit and this ACEDVio card. Its work well (mean I can monitor my picture & audio at my external TV)
But after switch to Sony Vegas, I can only get Picture at my external TV. CANNOT get sound.
Below is my connection from the ACEDVio card.
Video Out: Yellow RCA go to my LCD Video In(Yellow)
Audiot Out: Red & white RCA go to my LCD Red&White Audio InAny setting in Vegas I need to change??
2) In Canopus Let`s edit software I can transfer my Video & Audio through the DV output (at ACEDVio card). But when I use
Vegas I can only transfer Picture and NO audio availablePlease help me.

When playing back the timeline, the video goes out the firewire and the audio goes out the computer speakers.
When printing to tape, both video and audio go out firewire.
If you want both over firewire you’ll have to print-to-tape. You could get sound to your device on normal playback by sending your sound card audio to your other device.

to make the rendering more faster??I`m using PC with DDRAM 2G, P4 2.6GHz, 2 SATA H/Disk (400G for Video Captured, 160 G for Project File, 80 G External H/Disk for Back up, 80G for C drive)

Faster rendering depends on MANY factors and you need to figure out where your particular renders are bogging down. Common things that slow down renders:
1. Slow CPU/system components
2. Slow hard drives or rendering from/to the same hard drive
3. Use of many effects – some are slower than others to process (some are REALLY slow)
4. Use of 3D track motion
