  • Accidentally unsync’d original audio, can’t realign

I’ve googled this but everything comes back how to sync an external or secondary audio source to video. You know when you have video and audio unlinked and you move the video, you get that red square with the amount of frames out of sync the audio is? How do you realign them? I can only get it to either -1 or +3, never back to exactly synced. Yes, Tero, I’m sure it’s probably in the manual but if you don’t have the correct syntax in the search box it brings back nothing.

If you can’t figure out the correct search term you might want to check out the indices of the parts you’re trying to work on. Now you’re doing stuff in the edit page so in this case you might want to check under “Editing basics”.

Wouldn’t it have been easier to type “Page 344, numbnuts”? 😉

I want you two to meet up one day, and I want to be there, with a camera. My money is on … hmmm.

Can you not just select the clip that is out of sync and type + or – the number of frames you need it to move?
Is it possible there are other audio clips on lower tracks that are also out of sync?

Duke probably found it already but there is actually a handy slip/move command that should resync any A/V offsets when you right click on the red out of sync-box.

No, I’m going the period/comma route. Remember, I don’t have complex projects to work on. Mostly video with original audio, sometimes with soundtrack music added.

Not sure what you think might happen if we met up, but it might go something…like…this…

I think the “Duke & Tero Show” could be either a new sitcom on the CW, or a new cartoon series on Adult Swim.
