Accidentally Shot 60FPS on the 7D
We started off shooting some nice scenery shots at 60FPS so we could slow it down to 30FPS in post for that nice slow-mo effect.
Unfortunately we made a mistake and forgot to change back the frame rate to shoot some talking interviews at 30FPS.
Is there anything I can do in MPEG Streamclip or FCP to “fix” the interviews? I really don’t want to reshoot it.

If you edit the project at 720p 60fps then there is no need to go back and reshoot it at 1080p 30fps. Just leave the interpretation of the file at 60fps in your NLE, edit it and render it out.
You achieve slomo by conforming the 60fps to 30fps, but if you skip this step the footage will be just fine.

It’s not ruined. You just shot twice as many frames as you need. Do you want a 30p timeline? Does it matter to you? Is the slo mo footage supposed to mix in the same program as your interview? If so, then you’ll want to great your program (timeline) as a 30p timeline. then conform your slo mo footage to 30p. And convert your interview footage to 30p either using a separate program (compressor, mpeg streamclip, etc.) or just drop the 60p interview footage into the 30p timeline and let the program convert it yourself.
(Real time performance may be deminished if you choose the 2nd option because you’re computer is having to calculate constantly while editing.)
