Accidentally Filmed w/ Fluorescent filter on HV20, How to Correct in FCP?
I filmed an in studio interview and had two cameras on the subject. One, the primary camera, was a Canon HV30 and the footage looks great. The secondary camera was a Canon HV20. After capturing the footage in Final Cut Pro 7 I realized the fluorescent filter on the camera was on. This camera has an almost green tint to it. The blacks, which are sharp and vivid on the HV30 look almost brown and or green.
I would hate to have to make it a black and white shot. As they’re normally sharp HD footage. I have messed around with the footage using color correction, but nothing seems to work. I will continue to do so, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Use the color corrector 3-Way to white balance the shots. Color would do a better job of it if you know the software.

Thanks so much. I actually jus gave myself a crash course in the 3 way color corrector. It looks much better! Not perfect but really only noticeable if you stare at both images side by side. It was incredibly easy too.
