Has anyone ever succeeded in recovering WAV files from a formatted card that was used with a Zoom recorder with multiple tracks?

I accidentally formatted a card before copying everything over. I’ve been trying to recover it using recovery software. I was recording on two tracks: track 1 and Track 2.

With all the programs, it has recovered some of the audio.

But tt will sound normal for the first 3 seconds, then it will repeat the same 3 seconds but a lot queiter and then it does that on repeat.

My guess, is because it was recording two tracks, it’s merged it into one file. So it will play 3 seconds from one track then the same 3 seconds from the other track which sounds a lot queiter as that was from another mic.

It should be a 25 minute recording. Which it is, but due to the repeating, it ends up being around 12 minutes.

Hi Doug and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum.
Have you tried Audacity to see if it can see or import the files?
I’d try that first and then maybe DaVinci Resolve.
