I have a clip that I want to accelerate from normal motion to a speeded up version. This clip was constructed in apple motion and I was not able to get the speed to accelerate to a consistent speed, so unless I am missing something in motion, I am wondering if I can do this in FCP? Can I manually manipulate acceleration?

    Thanks in advance,

Load the clip in the viewer.

In the motion tab scroll down to time remap and set the time you want there.

    OR

Right click the clip in the timeline and select speed and type in teh new speed you want the clip to be.

Here is a link to a good tutorial on time remapping.
