about Unmix in the Node Graph

But I could not find a straightforward explanation.
Someone please explain what features Unmix.Thank you.

If you have an EDL timeline which contains cross fades (edited dissolves) from shot to shot, you would use the Unmix Tab to see your timeline as if it were ‘Cuts only’. This can be useful for match grading directly between shots and seeing the last frame of the outgoing shot compared to the first frame of the incoming shot.
It is mentioned briefly on page 185 of the manual… “Unmix: Unmix is essentially the same as the Clip mode, however no effects such as dissolves or speed changes will be displayed. Note: the Node Graph display above the Dynamics Timeline also displays the Clip, Track, and Unmix tabs synchronized with the Dynamics Timeline.”
