About the TC reader or generator not going below 01:00:00:00
I want to put a TC window burn over a segment that starts
at my sequence time of 59:45:00 and goes to 01;00:30:00.
Usually the way I do window burns is to nest the seguence
and put it into a new sequence and drop the TC reader filter on it.
If I nest the sequence and edit it to a new sequence where I set the
sequence to start at 59:45:00, the TC reader still says 01:00:00:00.Help.

The TC Reader is reading the TC of the underlying nest, not the TC of the new sequence. To do what you want:
– Copy the desired portion of the original sequence and paste it into your new sequence at the desire TC position
– NEST the copied clips
– Drop on TC filter on to this nest, and you should be reading the TC of the new sequence
