I have a simple question about FCP, which for some reason I cannot find a solution. Is there a way to get a total count of items (i.e. clips) in FCP browser? Being able to know just how many items a given bin has is very useful, yet I haven’t found a way other than manually counting them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A little workaround, but should do what you are looking for: Open the bin. Hit command-a and drag the selection slightly to the side. A number will appear. Add +1 to that number and you have your clip count…
