February 13, 2010 at 1:23 amHello,
i want to participate to the “music video contest” but at the last moment i found myself in somekind of an obstacle.
i have my original file (475MB in size) ready and rendered only to realize that to upload my clip it has to be 50MB max.
i tried modifiying the resolution and bitrates, but in order to reach the 50MB mark, bitrate should drop under 1M, leaving me with a bad squary video(esp. where there is intense movement).
Could anyone give me a helping hand,in order to render the video in a way that doesnt ruin the final effect so bad and is under 50MB?i use sony vegas 9 and the original videos were shot in 1080i
thx in advance

February 13, 2010 at 5:40 pmI think a found a solution at last.
I used variable bit rate, with a respectable maximum for the tricky parts, and a more modest amount for the average bit rate.If there is another way to do it, i would love to hear it.
