    Hello again everyone.

If I have a project, call it Project A, and within it, it contains a composition from another project, Project B. So far so good.

If I change something in the Comp from Project B separately, and then open Project A, the changes are not shown. In other words, Project A seems to have it’s own, virtual copy of the comp from Project B, and NOT a “link” to Project B’s comp.

Is there a way to “link” compositions and not have them be virtual copies?

Clear as mud? As always, thanks for the help.

Agreed, but what about having the option to “link” to another project (or comp) as well as “embed” the project or comp.

I, for one, would be downright giddy with the possibilities.

Monsters notwithstanding, the “linking” method of joining projects is common amongst 3D applications, such as Maya, and many have come to rely on such functionality.

But…we live in an imperfect world, doubly true when it comes to software.

(BTW – My personal anathema happened to be clowns. Talk about scary!)
