    Hi,

I hope this is the right place to ask.

I am about to order a Hyperdeck shuttle, to do a greenscreen recording on the Sony F3. I just wanted to confirm a few things,

    1. Will I be able to use it as an HD-Sdi to HDMI converter, so that i can run an HDMI feed from the HS, to a monitor, even when its not recording ?

    2. Is there a loop-out function on Sdi, so I can get another feed to go on to a waveform monitor ?

    3. What wrapper does it use for uncompressed 422 files ? I am guessing a .mov , would like to confirm anyway.

    Thank you in advance.

Yes, you can. You can even use it as a battery powered converter when when you don’t have an SSD inserted.

    2. Is there a loop-out function on Sdi, so I can get another feed to go on to a waveform monitor ?

    Yes, all outputs as active.

    3. What wrapper does it use for uncompressed 422 files ? I am guessing a .mov , would like to confirm anyway.”

You’re correct. It’s a Quicktime compatible .mov file.
