AAF Relink
I exported a film project AAF from FCPX/Premiere/Resolve.
I have tried each of the above with varying processes involving third-party software.
I can get the RED files to relink but the audio is just plain useless with AAF for me.
The audio from the shoot is named in shot/takes. I can see the actual WAV filename in the TapeID column.
I have tried everything and I still can’t get the audio to relink.

I would try separate AAF for picture and sound. I have never had good luck with audio workflows and AAF between NLE’s other than the MC<->ProTools route which one would expect.
With the audio-only AAF. make sure to use relink to selected and chose TapeID or whatever column has the common metadata between the clips in the timeline from the AAF and the actual media that you are relinking to.

Yea I gave up on the audio.
I will attempt an OMF/AAF from Premiere to Pro Tools then see if I can hit Avid from that.
If that doesn’t work, I will just render the audio out of Premiere (AAF) and hope that exports properly. -
I want to thank everyone that participated with my AAF issues.
It has since been resolved (not LOL!).
Just an odd thing where half my files in an assembly (FCPX) ended up as Dolby 5.1.
Stripped them all down to mono channels and all is good 🙂
