    Hi,

Just received an AAF for a feature, shot on 5Ds, offlined in MC in DNxHDs transcoded from the originals H264 MOVs.

Resolve is unable to relink to the original media, and Premiere cannot see the original file name, just the name of the mxf transcoded media. (EG mvi_1234.movV1546372.mxf VS. MVI_1234.MOV).

When I manually locate the original file, everything goes ok, but it cannot automatically relink the rest of the files because of the name difference, and since there’s no tapeid or tapename, it just stops.

I’ve been instructed to use scratch to manually force the program to just use the first 8 characters of the filename to match, and programs like mistika got similar utilities.

The question is: is there anything similar in premiere pro relink utility?. If not, what would be the quickest method for relink to original camera files in this case?.

    Thanks for all,

    Jose
