Activity Forums DaVinci Resolve AAF fails to import

    Hello,
I’m doing some tests bringing in AVID AAF’s into Resolve to work with some XDCamEX footage. But I can’t even get the AAF to create a session. I’m including a screenshot of the dialogue box that appears after I try importing.

Does anyone have any insight? Are there any settings that the editor should be aware of when exporting the AAF?
    Thanks,

It is basically indicating that not all the effects are supported between Avid Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve. This is the first implementation of AAF, I am sure that over time, additional effects will be supported. Plug-ins are a different matter as they would also need to be supported within Resolve to properly interpret.

OK, but are the effects and plug-ins preventing the sequence from coming through? Like I said, after I close that “error log” window nothing happens. Should I tell the editor to remove all effects from the sequence before exporting an AAF?
