I am using Avid MC 2018 and I have all sort of AAF export errors. I dupped the sequence and wiped out the video. This is a turnover to sound on a 85 minute feature.
I tried embedded, consolidated, and simple aaf export with no media to export. I get errors from Invalid Trim to std::exception.
I have little bit of time so I thought I do a test run, but soon I need to export for mix and not sure what to do and how to get them workable AAF.

Divide it up and test each part.
Try exporting just one track at a time.
Basically you need to track down any errors in the sequence.

You could also try transcoding all the audio to be uniformly one format, on the off chance you have some mixed sample rates in there causing some problems.
Use the convert audio sample rate, convert audio bit depth, convert audio file format check boxes on your embedded preset.

What Pat says.
Also: mostly errors like these are caused by one or more corrupt effects; miscalculated audio crossfades and/or flaky AudioSuite renders. On my latest feature, I had used two different machines, each of which turned out to run a different version of a specific plugin, and this led to issues. Which I managed to track down by using the classic ‘divide and conquer’ method Pat already suggested.
