AAF audio troubles, basic_string::at
Hi there,
I’m posting this here because recently our production suite had a major issue exporting AAFs from MC 8.2 for use in Pro Tools.
Every time our audio engineer imported our AAFs into Pro Tools 10, he was given the error “Could not complete your request because basic_string::at” .
After a lot of back and forth, we finally figured out the problem was to do with the fact that our audio file format in our AAF was set to PCM. Apparently Pro Tools didn’t like this in AAFs, so converting our audio file format to AIFF-C solved our issue. I’ve attached a screenshot of what our final export settings were.
Might be a rookie error, but I thought I’d put this up here in case anyone else was having a similar issue.
Cheers
