After a complex authoring process, multiple subtitles and audio-tracks, motion menus and other happy things, I test the project which yields no errors. Then, I preview the project and detect no errors, it all moves quite nicely.

So happily I insert a disk and try to burn my project and voila!

internal software error: .\Vobulator\TitlePlanner\CVOBUPlanner.cpp, line 331

After many expletives, anger and hurt, I turn to my trusty cow-friends. HELP!!!

    Things to check:

No overrides set anywhere in the project.

No timelines less than 1 second.

No chapter markers closer together than 1 second.

No chapter markers at the end of the timeline.

No more than 18 chapter playlists per timeline.

Delete all motion menu backgrounds, save the project, close and re-open Encore, then re-establish the motion menu backgrounds.

    Thanks for the quick reply!

I’ll delete the renders and try again.

I got exact the same internal software error on Adobe Encore CS3. The problem was chapter points too close to the end of video files. The project still includes override links.

    Thank you Jeff,
    Mike
