    Hi everybody
I am looking through posts and web for which could be the best software/hardware solution for the following job,I am getting a bit confused, I would appreciate if someone could share her/his 2cents

we ll need to encode some hundred hours of films coming from different sources HDCAM DIGIBETA BETACAM SP and DVCAM
they ll need to be encoded with the following settings

    Standard Definition:
Mpeg2 Program Stream (Anamorphic with 1:85 Racking) Interlaced with 16×9 Flag.
Audio must be Normalized to -2dB Stereo & Video Bitrate at Constant 10.5 Mbps.
All files need to be supplied as PAL (25fps)

    High Definition:
    Mpeg2 Program Stream (1920×1080 with 1:85 Racking).
Audio must be Normalized to -2dB Stereo & Video Bitrate at Constant 25 Mbps (Interlaced).
For 5.1 Audio, supply encoded as AC3 Normlized to -0.5dB at 448kbps
All files need to be supplied as 50i or 25pfs at full HD (1920×1080)

We are an apple based post production with decklink HD card (quad 2.66,macosx 10.5.7), we would look into buy a pc encoding station, if it would speed up the job, especially if we could encode on the fly!!
    any thoughts?
    Thanx
