  • A way to SET the TIME LINE INDICATOR where STOP the audio?

Posted by Mr Ed on April 10, 2009 at 9:44 pm

When one plays the audio in Audition in a time line… you hit space bar and it starts… hit space bar again and it stops… BUT if you hit it again it goes back to where the TIME LINE INDICATOR ALWAYS IS and to start audio in a new place you have to the TIME LINE INDICATOR to that place every time.

Is there a setting where play the audio and the TIME LINE INDICATOR stops where you stop playing or scrubbing the audio?

    Thank you!

    =)

    Ctrl, Shift, Space.

This can be changed under Edit>Keyboard Shortcuts and Midi Triggers>Transport
I just changed mine to Enter key.

    Awesome!

Now how about having the Indicator change to that location you stop at? Is that possible? =)

    Thanks

I don’t think it’s possible to stop at the certain spot on the time line while playing.
I never have understood the logic behind not being able to stop at the current play position by hitting the space bar.
What are the work flows people use where popping back to the original start position is best?
