    Dan,

I scanned the exe with 14 products and the site with 42 virus scanners.

I got a big zip for problems. it is 100% safe.
    Try it yourself at https://www.virustotal.com

If you got an alert the problem may be within your local environment.

Norton is only on the one machine. I’ll try it again. Dan

Norton AV is probably set to do full hueristic scanning, which can sometimes report false positives. From memory, you have to have made this setting deliberately.

Hi guys. Since I’m the author of the Timeline Tools Vegas Pro extension, let me assure you the program contains nothing malicious nor destructive.

This tool started out as a learning experience to familiarize myself with the basics of designing a Sony Vegas Extension. The more I progressed with my design, the more I added to the design to help make editing my Vegas projects easier. Eventually I ended up with something I thought might be useful for other Vegas users. So I took the extra step and made it more polished and easier for non geek programmers to install and use.

It was my intention to provide my fellow Sony Vegas Pro users with a useful tool that would make editing large projects much easier. I’ve created several large video slide-show projects, each containing well over 1,000 slides. Before I wrote this utility it was a huge P.I.T.A. to re-arrange my slides after I’ve made adjustments to them. I think I’ve made a tool that others will find helpful.

I am a Vegas Movie Studio newbie and would like to use Gary James’ Timeline Extension, but I seem to be too thick to make it work. I have it downloaded, it shows in my Install / Uninstall programs, in Control Panel, I have it in C:Users…….Vegas Application Extensions, but nowhere will it show in either ViewExtensions, EditExtensions. or Tool|Extensions. And I can’t find the application itself to open it.

    What am I doing wrong?

Thanks Mike. I am thankful I am not as silly as I thought I was (though that may be under dispute!). Cheers Jim
