  A very strange glitch with relinking media

  This is bizarre. I’m exporting AAFs (media in a folder) from Avid, then importing them into Premiere. Upon import, Premiere automatically brings up the interface saying the says the files are offline. I go to “Locate” option and find the file. When I select it, the error message comes up saying the file can’t be linked because it’s format (video) doesn’t match the original file (audio and video) However, if I then ignore that, close that interface, choose “relink” from the menu, and go through the same process, it works perfectly. Very weird.
