A stain problem
Okay, I have a big problem with some of the stuff I shot the other day. I didn’t clean the screen of my camera and I think there was particles on it because all my shirts turned out like the one below, with that brighter spot on the upper right of the screen (the bright spot on the hair)
Heres a closer look at it incase you didn’t spot it.
What is the best way to completely remove that annoying brighter spot?

Snarky answer: Reshoot it with a clean lens, and flag off the overhead glare with something like a French flag, some black wrap, or cardboard and gaffer tape.
Non-snarky answer: if this was a single bad pixel, Digital Heaven has a plug-in thats’s miraculous (pun intended) for fixing that. But what you’ve got there is a flare, much bigger than one measly pixel.
Perhaps going into Apple Color and creating a tracking power window that just corrects that area with adjusted contrast could help.
You could also perhaps take this into aftereffects to create a motion-tracked keyframed adjustment layer, that compensates for only that spot.
You could, if you have a high boredoem threshold, import the video frames into Photoshop as a frame movie and hand-paint corrections with clone stamp or filters into the bad spots frame by frame, and some of that could be automated. Re-import the corrected frames back into your timeline, fixed.
The ten seconds with a lens cloth and can of compressed air, before rolling though, would have been most effective. On the bright side, I can pretty much gah-run-tee you’ll never make this particular camera error again.
