I have had this same issue arise many times, and I cannot find a reason for it….

I am creating a simple text animation. Whitney Bold font. Black text on white background. Using the “puff in” text behavior and a grow/shrink behavior. The puff is a 2sec movement and the “grow” covers 10 seconds. Pretty basic. But for some reason, when the “puff” finishes its movement, the text jumps to a slightly thinner font size. It’s very noticeable. I’ve had this happen with other fonts as well. I see it both in Motion and also rendered in FCP. I’ve attached a video of it that hopefully will show this clearly.

I see this happen often with different behaviors. What I end up doing is using a different behavior and it works fine. It’s frustrating and I know there’s got a be a simple reason for it.

    Thanks for any ideas.
