A silly question about the effect editor, about restarting it every time.
The problem is that every time when I create an effect,
Then of course I use the effect editor, do what I do, and then quit the window of the effect editor.Moments have passed and I decided I want to change something in that specific effect,
I enter again to the effect editor, but this time when I change things in there, nothing changes.For example I used Paint effect, changed the Hue in the color section, then I’m “done”, exit,
then after a few seconds I open the effect editor again, but this time when I change again the Hue, or anything else, nothing happens, and the only thing I can do is to remove the effect and do it all over again.Propably a stupid question, but you gotta start somewhere.

assuming you are selecting the object you painted before by clicking and dragging in the record window when in paint effect the second time?

Has this always happened or is this recent? Could sometimes be as simple as just restarting AVID or the computer. If this always happens, does it happen after you render the first effect that you do? When you change anything in the effect editor are you making sure to add markers and put your cursor on the marker that you want to change?
