A quick way of filling in a line based animation?
Hey creative meadow dwellers!
I have a problem, and I know there must be a simple fix. I am intermediate level on photoshop cs5.5. I am using it to do some character animations.
They are all line based, and some split into layers to allow for quick manipulation of certain parts.
Here is the problem: I want to fill these animated characters with a paper texture; either a static texture, or possible a layer of video that is changing textures. I’m thinking that this layer would need to me masked somehow to meet the edges of the animated character. Is this something that would be better done in aftereffects? Should I just fill my characters with chroma green so is can be replaced with this texture layer – static or not. Or is there a simple way of doing this in photoshop?
Your help would be VERY much appreciated! Thankyou, Josh
