    A Quick Operating System Question

    Hi guys,

    Here’s a simple question: I’d like to put Avid Express Pro on one of two Macs I own (a dual 867 G4 and a new G5), but it seems like the OS on either is too high for the requirements of the software. I have Tiger on the G5, and 10.3.9 on the olde G4. Avid appears to run on up to OS 10.3.8. What can I do in order to run the Avid? Is there a way to downgrade my OS? Or am I just reading the specs wrong?

    The Tiger release for Xpress Pro and Adrenaline are coming out in a week or two.

    OR GET something with Windows XP and service pack2

    Hi Tim,
    There is no step to downgrade the OS, you will need to freshly install 10.3.8 on the G4.
