  • A pushbutton lights up.. How would you best do this?

In my video, a finger pushes a button, which appears to light up (to indicate its ON position).

How would you (artificially) re-create such an onscreen action?

    Thanks,

I would use a piece of 50% gray Solid Generated Media on a separate track above the button and use Pan/Crop to Mask it to just the button area. Then change the track Composite Mode to Dodge and it will make the button light up.
