    I’m not sure how to explain this properly so I’m going to use the help of a horribly crafted video 🙂 Please watch the video below before reading my question!

    in reference to that video and the GREEN LINE…

    I would like to keep pointA stationary (like it is currently) while pointB moves directly on top of the purple dot at all times. (Kind of like if pointB was a child of the purple dot…if that makes any sense)

    Assuming that you’re talking about tying the Ending Point of a Beam Effect to the center of a layer named “Layer B”, it would be like this:

    L = thisComp.layer(“Layer B”);
    L.toWorld(L.anchorPoint)
