A modern collaborative narrative workflow with FCPX 10.3
If you’ve been wondering how to explain to someone how FCPX can save them time as a professional editor, this video from LACPUG should give you a really good starting point. You simply can’t do this stuff nearly as fast with another NLE. We go from Ingest to automated sync and search, to assistant edit prep techniques, some timeline tricks, collaborative editing, motion template passing, color and sound finishing in the app, as well as getting out to FCPX and logic, and how to make a DCP when you’re done. Essentially, we get from ingest to DCP with 3 editors in a little under an hour in a shared environment off the Lumaforge Jellyfish. Here’s where to go:
