    I am looking for a little advice. As I have said before, in other posts, I am not a video professional. I’m just a hobbyist.

    I do enjoy watching videos on You Tube, TV, and DVD’s and then trying to recreate the effects I see there. It is a learning experience and, for me, a great deal of fun.

    Recently I watched a tutorial on making the Apple “Reflection” type effect and gave it a try. Curiosity got the better of me and I wanted to take it a bit further so I tried improving on the effect.

    Rather than go into a lengthy post here, I created a little website to explain my request and show an example of what I have managed thus far.

    Please go to: https://michaelsden.net/forhelp/ and click on the Reflection Menu item which will explain my question in detail and show the examples.

    Basically I think I am looking for a plug-in or, at the very least, an easier way of achieving this effect.

    Thanks,
    David

    David;

    Very nice for a hobbist. I know some, so called professionals who can’t even do this.

    You are correct Noise Industries has this in thier FX FActory Pro Bundle, but there is also a similar 3D template in Motion. If you have Final Cut Studio 2 it is in there under HD Templates called Float.HD.

    I’m not sure what it is that you are trying to accomplish, if it is an easier way of doing this effect then above are your options, there may be some other out there that I’m not familar with.
