Activity Forums Adobe After Effects Expressions a link between position and effect

  • a link between position and effect

Im sure there is a way to do this but I’m expressionally challenged. I want to link the value of an effect to the current depth of the same object. In essence:

    Value of effect = .5 * depth

so if my object was at a depth of 140 then the value of my effect parameter would by 70 and so on.

    Any ideas?
