I’ve been wondering for a while now how this awesome effect is implemented. It’s very popular and I can think of several big budget movies that have used it, including the da vinci code and recently hancock.

I can get light sweeps to appear and disappear in a smilar format, but it’s not really professional, any advice on how I should approach this problem? It sounds pretty simple and should be, but I’m struggling.

I have tried to add links to the trailers in this message, but it doesn’t seem to work. In both cases it is really visible when the title of the movie appears. The Da Vinci Code and the Hacock trailers, as always they can be seen on youtube, even if the links below dont appear, please do check them out.

    Thanks guys.
